Model United Nations was started during the 2004-2005 academic year by Kristina Mader, and quickly grew from a small group of 5 students in early 2005 to over 20 committed members in 2008. The club has won awards at WWU for its growth, leadership development, and consistency in providing students an opportunity to participate in MUN and gain a greater sense of their global citizenship. Past leadership is listed below, as are awards we have won, conference staffers who are from WWU, and a general list of all conferences attended since 2004.
